It specializes in services for: local governments, agricultural sector, agri-food industry, trade, crafts and travel industry.
BPS Bank has been operating on the Polish market since 1992 – initially as Gospodarczy Bank Południowo-Zachodni S.A. headquartered in Wrocław. In 2002, five regional banks were merged with it and its name was changed to Bank Polskiej Spółdzielczości (Polish Cooperative Bank). The Bank's headquarters were moved to Warsaw.
BPS Bank brings together over 300 Cooperative Banks and forms the largest association of Cooperative Banks in Poland.
